Privacy Policy
Effective 15 July 2026
How we collect, use, and protect personal data — including your GDPR rights.
1. Controller & contact
For personal data processed about your use of aclade, the controller is ethTV Inc. (a company incorporated in the United States), together with its affiliate Sivakasi Rockets Private Limited (India). For personal data contained in Customer Data that you submit, you are the controller and we act as your processor under our Data Processing Addendum.
Privacy contact: privacy@aclade.com. Data Protection Officer / privacy team: dpo@aclade.com. If we are not established in the EU, our EU representative's details will be provided here [to be completed].
2. Data we collect
- Account & workspace data: name, work email, company, role, credentials.
- Usage data: log data, device/browser, IP address, timestamps, feature usage.
- Content you provide: tasks, messages, uploads, and other Customer Data (which may contain personal data of your own users/contacts).
- Billing data: plan, transactions, and payment tokens (card details are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us).
3. How & why we use data (legal bases)
We process personal data to provide and secure the Service (performance of a contract), to operate, maintain and improve it and prevent abuse (legitimate interests), to comply with law (legal obligation), and, where required, with your consent (e.g. certain cookies and marketing).
Automated processing: the Service uses AI and automated systems to perform tasks and generate outputs. We do not use these to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about individuals without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards; where such processing occurs you have the rights described in Section 8.
4. AI model processing
To deliver expert work, content may be processed by AI models (operated by us and/or vetted providers acting as our subprocessors). We contractually require subprocessors not to train their foundation models on your Customer Data except as you direct, and to apply appropriate security and retention limits.
5. Sharing & subprocessors
We share data with service providers ("subprocessors") strictly to run the Service, under data-protection terms. Current categories include: EU cloud hosting/infrastructure (Contabo, EU), email delivery (Zoho, for @aclade.com and our own mail infrastructure), AI model providers, payment processors (e.g. Stripe, Razorpay), and analytics/error monitoring. An up-to-date subprocessor list is available on request and in the DPA.
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Primary hosting and storage is in the European Union. Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK (for example to our US affiliate or a provider), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures.
7. Retention & security
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate/legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Customer Data is deleted following termination per your instructions and the DPA.
We apply administrative, technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, tenant isolation, access controls, and DNSSEC-signed infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure.
8. Your rights (GDPR & others)
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the EU/EEA) or applicable regulator.
To exercise rights, contact privacy@aclade.com. Where you are our processor customer, we will assist you in responding to data-subject requests as set out in the DPA.
9. Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies to run the Service (e.g. authentication, theme preference) and, with consent where required, limited analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in-product or by email.
